Our Roots

RowLandScapes Corp was founded in 1983 in Rockville, Maryland.  We started out with our parents’ lawnmower and walked down the street to mow lawns after school.  More than thirty-seven years later we are still at it.  Our parent’s lawnmower did not last through the next season but that was not a problem for them because they have had their lawn professionally cared for ever since.

Our company has grown since then and we now offer a variety of services.   While our main focus is turf care management, we provide other lawn services as well.  Our local ownership and size enables us to get to know each customer personally and to learn exactly what they desire for their yard. Give us a call and try us out for a while!  We are sure you will be satisfied or we will continue working until you are.  We are fully insured and licensed.

Selecting a Lawn Care Service

Rowlandscapes has participated with the Junior Achievement program for the past several years. During the winter months, we are in middle school classrooms helping prepare students for success in a global economy with hands-on activities and programs about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness.

Rowland, the owner of Rowlandscapes Corp, is an avid golfer. This year he will be participating in a tournament to raise money for the charity, fight 4 diabetes cure.  Rowland will be participating in the Golf Decathlon, ten rounds of golf in one day.
